Honest answers

I haven’t been to a dentist in years — will I get a lecture?
No lectures. Promise. Roughly a third of our new patients arrive after a gap of five years or more — you will not surprise us, and you will not be scolded. First visit is a calm look, a plan, and nothing else unless you want it.
Does it hurt?
Modern anaesthesia means most treatments are genuinely painless — the most you should feel is pressure. And you always have the hand signal: raise it, and we stop instantly. Not “in a second”. Instantly.
What will it cost? I’m worried about surprise bills.
Every treatment beyond the covered basics gets a written, itemised estimate before we begin — and that quote is binding. If we discover something unexpected mid-treatment, we pause and discuss it with you first. Instalment plans at 0% are available from €300.
Do you take my insurance?
We bill all statutory plans (TK, AOK, BARMER, DAK, IKK classic, hkk, KKH and others) directly — you never front the money. Private plans and Beihilfe get a GOZ-compliant invoice formatted for easy reimbursement. Unsure? Text us a photo of your card and we’ll confirm within the hour.
I can’t stand the sound of the drill.
You’re in good company. We have noise-cancelling headphones with your choice of playlist at every chair, and for anything longer we offer laughing gas or light sedation from €120 — you stay responsive, but the edge is gone. Many patients describe it as “pleasantly elsewhere”.
What if I need to cancel or move my appointment?
Free up to 24 hours before, no questions, no forms — reply to your confirmation text or call. We’d genuinely rather you reschedule than sit in the chair stressed about the meeting you’re missing.
